Press reports indicate Apple and Hyundai may collaborate on the design of an electric car. If they do, don’t expect to see one on the road much before 2027.
Bloomberg is reporting that Apple screen supplier Foxconn has entered into a strategic production deal with embattled Chinese EV startup Byton, in a move that could see that car — and its infamous 48″ infotainment screen — finally reach series production. And it could happen somewhat sooner than later.

Zoox, based out of California (of course), has been working for years on autonomous ride-hailing technology. It was valued at $3 billion in 2018. Amazon just bought it — reportedly fro $1.2 billion.
