Dodge’s “Hellcats” are fierce track beasts from the world of the internal combustion engine (ICE), especially when it comes to drag racing. However, the all-electric Tesla Model 3 Performance shows no fear taking on these monsters despite being the smallest member of Tesla’s lineup.
Put a Jaguar I-Pace up against Tesla Model X. Ask both cars to accelerate to 60 and then come to a complete stop in the shortest possible distance. Which car will win?
At this point, you would think that most drag racers are aware of just how quickly the higher tiers of Tesla’s offerings accelerate, and that if you want to beat one, you should make the race longer rather than shorter … but apparently most people are no longer capable of understanding even such basic things. Maybe it’s all the drugs people are on nowadays.
