The New BMW iX3 Is Coming To South Africa!

The BMW iX3 shares the same platform as the plug-in hybrid, the mild hybrid, and the fossil fuel X3 models. The iX3 will be built at the BMW/Brilliance Automotive joint venture plant in China where BMW has been producing the X3. BMW also produces the X3 in Rosslyn, Pretoria, South Africa. Since they share the same platform, we hope in the long run BMW can start to also build the iX3 in Pretoria.

Vanderbijlpark-based Electronia is selling Energica electric superbikes in South Africa. The Modena- (Italy) based Energica is also the sole manufacturer in the Moto E Championship. Electronia is bringing the 21.5 kWh Energica EGO+, EVA RIBELLE, and the EVA ESSEESSE9+ models to South Africa initially, but plans to open up sales in other African countries soon.
