The Mobility House — Used EV Batteries Intelligently Powering The World (CleanTechnica Video)

One of the top presentations at EVBox’s first annual rEVolution conference earlier this year came from Thomas Raffeiner, CEO & Founder of The Mobility House.

In this presentation, Thomas highlighted a few projects used old EV batteries and helping to intelligently manage extreme as well as regular electricity needs in these locations. The Mobility House has partnered with Nissan, Renault, Daimler, and others for these projects. In my eyes, though, the most interesting project was with the Vatican. The presentation is worth a watch, so just get on it:

Chevy Bolt Rises Again, Nissan LEAF Drops Off Cliff (October US Electric Car Sales)

Our EV charging conference last week delayed my monthly US electric car sales report, but the day has arrived.

Naturally, Tesla Model 3 bottlenecks are a bummer, so my Model 3 estimate* is moderate. Meanwhile, estimates for the Tesla Model S and Tesla Model X put these vehicles at #2 and #3. And the car that really stole the show in October was the Chevy Bolt.

What Changed In The EV Market In October?

We published 509 articles in October. It’s rather hard to read every single one — I’m not sure if anyone does, but I can tell you that I don’t have time for that and I’m the director and chief editor of the site! We publish weekly and monthly roundups of the most popular articles, but I’ve felt like something was still lacking. So, I’ve decided to jump into a couple of new monthly reports — one for electric vehicles (this one) and one for solar energy + stationary energy storage.
