Continental has launched a new tire optimized specifically for electric buses operating in urban environments. The new Conti Urban HA3 is optimized for the heavier loads that come with electric buses and their oversized batteries, with a carrying capacity of up to eight tons per axle.

BYD has taken another step forward in electrifying mass transit in Spain, as the company has landed a deal with EMT Madrid for 15 BYD 12-meter buses. Taipei, Taiwan-based XING Mobility is leveling up its modular battery system with the introduction of an Immersion Cooled Modular Battery Pack System at The 2019 Battery Show in Stuttgart, Germany.
