According to Bloomberg, “Tesla Inc.’s market value has surpassed Exxon Mobil Corp.’s in a sign that investors are increasingly betting on a global energy transition away from fossil fuels.” Bloomberg touted the turning point as a “symbolic energy shift” that could signify a seismic transformation taking place in the sector.
How did Elon Musk grow into the business maverick he is today? It didn’t come easy. Even though the 48-year old tech titan Elon Musk is currently worth more than $40 billion, CNBC reports that the “Tesla and SpaceX boss hasn’t always been so wealthy.”

Fast forward to 2020 and now Britain’s financial pub points to Tesla as the carmaker to look out for as the industry transitions to electric.
