There is a new Tesla Supercharger online in North Dakota, and residents there are excited. Yes, North Dakota. Twitter user Erik from Tesla Inventory confirmed that and expressed his joy in a tweet on Friday. Tesla now has Superchargers in all 48 continental US states. Erik also noted that more Superchargers along I-94 should be coming online soon.

In a Reddit discussion, Vandilx, a North Dakota resident, confirmed that Tesla had completed the assembly of Superchargers in Dickinson, Bismark Jamestown, and Fargo, but that only the east four stalls of the Fargo station are active at the moment and it’s free for now. The Tesla Supercharger map shows the same:

A quick look at the Supercharger map (or this more detailed one if you prefer) shows that Grand Forks, ND, and Pembina, ND, both have permits but are not yet opened.

Several Tesla owners chatted about it in the Tesla Motors Club forum and you can see a great photo here. Stu Redmen said that, “I just finished charging a few minutes ago on the third stall from the east end and got better numbers. Went from 25% to 85%. Started out at about 600 mi/hr. and ended with 180. 160kW down to about 70. Free. The four stalls on the west side are not lit up, although it is very hard to see in the bright sunlight.”

It’s great to see Tesla Superchargers in all 48 continental U.S. states, and hopefully both Hawaii and Alaska will have some soon. Looking at the Supercharger map, you can see that Tesla has been hard at work expanding and building its charging network.

Overall, there are now 1,870 Tesla Supercharger stations and 16,585 Supercharging ports around the world.
