Dan Markham, Founder of What’s Inside? (a very popular YouTube channel), recently shared how he and the Make A Wish Foundation helped make the wish of 5-year-old Jordan come true. Jordan wanted to meet What’s Inside? and ride in a Tesla Roadster.

Jordan’s Story

According to the Make A Wish Foundation, Jordan’s wish was to meet the What’s Inside? family, as he was an avid fan of the channel. Jordan loves cars, but especially Teslas, and also wanted an opportunity to see their Tesla.

Jordan has been fighting cancer for the majority of his young life. He was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia when he was only 18 months old. His mother said that he’d been in treatment ever since then. Jordan finished his treatment in October and has a good prognosis. His mother said that everything is looking good for Jordan and he might start kindergarten next year. In the video, Burkahm shared how he got connected with Jordan and his family.

“We got the initial email from Make A Wish and it was really humbling. Like, I don’t know, I want to say yes to this but at the same time he could have some other wish that would be really cool. After talking back and forth, I could tell that they did want to do this, and of course, we’re going to say yes to this.”

Markham pointed out that Jordan loves their videos due to the Tesla content, as Jordan is a huge Tesla fan. His family was there and they invited Jordan into their home where their dog, Tesla, was barking happily.

Jordan was very knowledgeable about Teslas and was adorably alarmed when he saw that Markham’s Model S had only 9% of its range remaining. Markham had recently been on a trip and hadn’t yet charged his vehicle. Jordan also got to explore the family’s other Teslas, including a red Tesla Roadster in which Markham gave Jordan a ride.
