Earth Day is approaching! And who doesn’t want a brand new Tesla to celebrate this special day?

Enter now to win a Tesla Model X!

This spring, you could win a Tesla Model X and support the spread of solar energy at the same time!

For over 40 years, the Illinois Solar Education Association (ISEA)* has been advancing the solar movement — and now is your chance to help strengthen its work by entering its annual fundraising raffle for a Tesla Model X.

ISEA started small — just a group of volunteer environmental advocates who got together and decided they needed to do something more to help spur the transition to green energy. The organization has continued to grow in size and strength ever since, becoming an essential resource for solar energy-related education and advocacy.

Despite its growth over the years, ISEA has maintained its commitment to providing free solar education, which is why it needs your support in order to ensure it is able to continue to fight for a strong clean energy future. This is where the Tesla Model X raffle comes in — a raffle ticket will go a long way towards achieving renewable energy goals and carving a path to a brighter, more sustainable future! The money raised from the annual raffle directly supports ISEA’s educational programming, including  Solar 101 webinars, the annual Illinois Solar Tour, and developing robust, publicly accessible education resources on the ISEA website and YouTube Channel. Plus, you might just net yourself an amazing new car!

The Model X is an all-electric SUV that you can recharge at your home or on the road — you’ll no longer be at the mercy of fluctuating gas prices, and you’ll reduce your carbon footprint at the same time! On top of that, this SUV is a true utility vehicle. It’s one of the fastest, safest, strongest, and roomiest cars in its class, with the ability to go from 0 to 60 in 4.4 seconds and the most advanced autopilot technology on the market.

ISEA has offered a Tesla raffle for the past seven years, to enthusiastic response. “I entered the raffle because I wanted to support the solar industry in Illinois,” 2015’s winner explained. “I figured that I wouldn’t win, but it was a good cause and I figured it would come back to me in one way or another (less pollution, maybe a cool car).” After he won, “I test drove the car and got to test the autopilot software on the highway, which was amazing. It is a great car, very quiet and very fun to drive.” 2017’s winner already had solar installed at his home, and was excited that he could now fuel his car on sunshine!

The raffle closes on April 26, 2021 and the winning ticket will be drawn on April 29, 2021. Each ticket is $100, or you can get a discounted set of four tickets for $300. Only 2,500 tickets will be sold. If fewer than 2,300 tickets are sold, then the drawing converts to a 50/50 drawing. Find further details and contest rules on ISEA’s raffle page at RallyUp.
