Sortimo has shown two studies or concepts at the IAA Commercial Vehicles event — one is an electric cargo mover and the other is a mobile depot. The ProCargo CQ1 has a cargo bed for transporting the S1 mobile depot or shipping pallets. It has a top speed of 45/kmh and is intended for the ‘last mile’. The S1 depot is designed for craftsmen (and women) and service providers to contain tools, fittings, materials and the like. Sabrina Sendlinger, Corporate Communication Manager for Sortimo, answered some questions for CleanTechnica about the new innovations.

What is the cost of the ProCargo?

Still pending. As this is a study so far, we don’t have the final costs.

What is the maximum load it can carry?

250 kg.

Does the ProCargo come with a charger?

Yes.

Who is the target audience?

In general, delivery and goods transport in city centers or factory traffic.

Can you buy them and rent, or only rent?

Both buying and renting.

Are they mainly for construction sites?

The Container has been set up as a Service Container or as a depot for packages.

How much does it weigh empty?

Approximately 35 – 45 kg.

Was the SContainer made to fit the ProCargo?

Yes, but not only for that. The sContainer can also be conveyed with a logistics company.

How secure is an sContainer for storage?

Very safe. The sContainer will be equipped with double locking in the door.
