Clean Revolution — What Do You Have To Offer?

As reported in recent weeks, we are launching a new Clean Revolution campaign here on CleanTechnica in order to help stimulate political action on the ground level and help elect strong cleantech champions at various levels of government.

Anyone who has already contacted us about being involved, we will be in communication soon — stay tuned.

This article is focused on the first step of any campaigning or political process. The question we all have to ask ourselves is, what can we offer?

Can you run for office? Can you gather a supporting cast, necessary media attention, and fundraising for the race?

Can you find a local, state/provincial, or national campaign you would like to support?

Can you find a more generic organization or movement to join in order to advance cleantech solutions that create jobs, help stop global scorching, and provide energy security?

Would you join a political party’s machine and go knock on doors, make phone calls, or fundraise during the next political season?

Do you have IT expertise, messaging/comms expertise, policy expertise, social media expertise, or some other skillset you’d like to contribute to a campaign?

Consider your overall skills, what kind of work inspires you, your potential time commitment, and the core message or campaign you want to push forward.

Once you’ve done all of that, and presuming you want to be part of a massive push to accelerate positive cleantech action, drop us a note via our contact formselecting “I want to get in touch about the Clean Revolution campaign.”

And for the rest of you, stay tuned — we’ll try to rope you in sooner or later.
