YouTuber Takes His Tesla Model 3 Out For Some Uber Action In Kentucky
An adventurous YouTuber took his Tesla Model 3 out as an Uber driver, and the reactions he gathered are just priceless.
The beauty of the reactions from his passengers is that he’s driving them around in Kentucky, where not only are Tesla vehicles not as common, but electric vehicles are much less popular. Rolling these things together makes for a not-from-this-world experience that you have to see to believe.
For Tesla and electric vehicle enthusiasts, the video is just pure smiles, as the driver breaks news about the core benefits of Tesla and other electric vehicles to passenger after passenger. As an advocate, it makes me wonder if driving a Tesla Model 3 for Uber or Lyft might just be the best way to convince people of the benefits of electric vehicles, and the best way to sell cars.
Riders are impressed with and enthralled by the touchscreen, the spartan layout, the smooth ride, and all of the things that still wow me on a daily basis. The video serves as a fun reminder of just how much fun electric cars are and how different they are than gasoline cars.
The driver also has a bit of fun with his passengers, giving them injections of the Model 3’s instant torque while noting some of the stand-out features of the car, like the all-glass roof. One of his passengers noted, “It was so smooth. It was like a roller coaster.”
The video is a lot fun and a reminder of so many of the benefits of electric vehicles that the enthusiasts get a bit jaded to over time. It is the fun, tangible benefits like Autopilot, the smooth ride, the instant torque that will help push people beyond simple comparisons of the numbers when considering an electric car.
