The Solar Panel Art Series Uses Art To Share The Message Of Sustainability

The Solar Panel Art Series is a beautiful series of commissioned works of art that are laid out on used solar panels.

These one-of-a-kind creations are a beautiful way to highlight not just an amazing piece of art, but the story of solar power, the power of renewables, and the energy transition that’s currently underway around. Solar represents not only a green technology, but it is a form of power generation that has the power to save the planet. Generating power with solar panels is about as passive and low emission as electricity production gets.

Beyond that, it has the power to not only energize our homes and workplaces, but our vehicles and the entire transit industry. This message is subtly woven into the 10 unique pieces of art in the second round of the Solar Panel Art Series that so beautifully embodies the beauty of the world and the power of solar panels.

As readers of CleanTechnica, we know that you are some of the most educated, most informed, most active and most vocal proponents of renewables and solar power specifically. These panels are a way to showcase those beliefs and those messages in very unique pieces of art.

These pieces are not just art – they were created to raise awareness and money for a very important cause that extends the power of solar energy to those who need it the most. Funds raised from the auction of these works of art goes to support the Little Sun Foundation “Solar Kids School Program.” The program is a solar project that serves to provide clear, safe and sustainable light to school children and their teachers in Rwanda.

If you’re at all interested in finding a new way to spread the message of solar and renewables or are just looking for a great cause to support, head over to the auction site Paddle 8 to bid on one of these 10 unique works of art before they’re gone. As I’m writing this, there are less than 24 hours left in these auctions and once they’re gone, that’s it.

The team at the Solar Panel Art Series shared with us that they are partnering with Urban-X, Viessmann and a few others to bring the initiative to New York in early November so keep an eye out for that in the next few months.
