For the second episode of our daily Cleantech Talk Today show, Nicolas Zart and I talked about Tesla marketing, Tesla Model 3 battery productionTesla battery recycling, and some other highlights from Tesla’s annual shareholder meeting. But that was just to kick off the show.

We also discussed the ongoing insanity of fossil fuel subsidies & politics. On a slightly more positive note, we discussed high-speed rail and a cool new Texas bullet train that connects to Amtrak. Of course, the US rail story is not super uplifting, but it was good to talk about a bit of progress.

We ended our chatting with a long back & forth on wireless EV charging, BMW’s leadership (more or less) in bringing a car to market that comes with wireless EV charging, and the super odd fact that it’s a plug-in hybrid with a relatively small battery.
