Work is known to have started companies from the ground up and taking them through significant growth. He will provide the management expertise needed to get Alta to meet its market strategy.

We just announced that Alta’s bikes are now being sold at more than 41 dealerships across the United States. Work has been consulting with Alta for the past 18 months. He now officially joins the management team. Presumably, he had a hand in US expansion and the company was happy with the results.

Having owned over 50 motorcycles and ridden bikes for the last three decades, I’m honored to join Alta and support the company’s next phase of growth while standing behind a product I know and love,” Work was quoted as saying. “Alta has already recorded an impressive year of growth, and I look forward to collaborating with teams so more riders can experience the thrill of riding Alta’s Redshift in more markets.”

Alta Motors CEO, Marc Fenigstein, said: Work’s combined high-tech and motorcycle expertise will be a boon to Alta. … Having successfully navigated the complexities of funding and scaling multiple companies from scratch, I’m confident Work will be a major asset to our team for years to come.”

Stay tuned for Marc’s interview with CleanTechnica.
