
Cleantech Open is holding their Western Regional Awards and Northeast Regional Finals in October.
Cleantech Open is the world’s oldest and largest cleantech startup accelerator and operates in seven regions of the United States: Western & Pacific Northwest Regions, Northeast Region, Southeast Region, Midwest Region, and the Rocky Mountain & South Central Regions. Cleantech Open works with startups in a variety of industries and geographies through their annual US-based program.
Cleantech Open’s Western Region Awards
CTO is holding their Western Region Awards and Innovation Showcase on October 17th. This showcase event is the culmination of Cleantech Open’s seven-month regional cleantech accelerator program. Closed-door judging will take place on October 16th. On the 17th, join the public Awards & Innovation Showcase.
The public is invited to meet and be part of the conversation with entrepreneurs, investors, corporate sponsors, and university and government partners all focused on cleantech. You can be among the first to congratulate the winners of the Regional competition!
The event is hosted by the City of Fremont and will be held at the Fremont Marriott Silicon Valley. The them this year is California’s expanding leadership in cleantech innovation. Some of the topics covered will be:
- Clean energy
- Green buildings
- Advanced materials
- Clean water / air / waste
- Ag-tech
- Communication technologies

Cleantech Open’s Northeast Region Awards
The 2017 Cleantech Open Accelerator culminates on October 5th and 6th at Regional Finals. Teams have the opportunity to meet with investors and take part in the competition portion of the program. The public is invited to join for the team showcase where you will have the opportunity to meet these teams. Appetizers and refreshments will be provided.
On Thursday, October 5th, public registration for the 2017 Cleantech Open Showcase starts at 1:00pm, the showcase begins 1:30pm in Vanderbilt Hall.
All teams will take part in private pitching sessions with expert judges. After the top 8 teams are selected, the public is invited to join for an evening of live pitching, awards, and networking! VIP Judges will award four teams cash, in-kind services, and an invitation to take part in Cleantech Open’s Global Forum. For any questions, email Program Manager Gina Bellato.
