It is no secret that Tesla has broken the auto industry and disrupted markets in every business segment it operates in. The bold approach it takes to business has inspired millions of people around the world, including 16 year old Brandon Relph and Florian Funke. The duo met Elon Musk at Minecon in London in 2015 and were inspired to create their own inspiring future … inside of Minecraft.

For the uninitiated, Minecraft is essentially a virtual game of building blocks where players can build whatever their heart desires from the entire Death Star to the islands of Hawaii, with the only limitation being that of the imagination. Creations are assembled with pixelated building blocks made of various virtual materials.

The early release of Minecraft Marketplace proved to be the perfect catalyst for turning their vision into reality, and as soon as they were able to get their hands on it, the pair jacked into the virtual world to create the world they envisioned, pixel by pixel. Fast forward to today and internationally acclaimed Block studios has released its custom build of Minecraft, including a Tesla Model 3.

To show off its new creation, the Block team created a brief video that follows a virtual Tesla Model 3 around in various landscapes within the virtual world. The team envisions the created world as a new platform from which it can reach a new audience with Musk’s message of a sustainable energy future powered by solar panels, with electricity stored in batteries, including inside of Tesla vehicles.

With Musk being a self-proclaimed nerd, it’s no wonder why Minecraft fans and creators often converge on Tesla and use Minecraft to communicate with and about Musk, including with The Boring Company’s tunnel system beneath SpaceX and even a full blown pitch to build a future Gigafactory in Lithuania.

Will we see Minecraft creations turning into actual Tesla products just as we have seen Tesla turn science fiction into reality? Time will tell, but I’m curious … what would you have Tesla build next if you had your way? Let us know in the comments below!
