Tesla Model 3 Shown Off At Employee Party (New Images)
At a recent party that Tesla put on for its employees, the company saw fit to put a silver Model 3 on display, giving us yet another closeup look at what the forthcoming sedan will bring to the market late next year.
The party in question was apparently in relation to the company’s strong performance during Quarter 3, 2016 — the first quarter that the company showed a profit in a couple of years. (Almost entirely owing to the fact that the company has been expanding very aggressively over this time period, rather than seeking to become a very profitable niche luxury manufacturer.)
With regard to the silver Tesla Model 3 in question, it certainly is quite a bit different looking than the Chevy Bolt EV that will be hitting the market very soon, isn’t it? As noted by Teslarati in its coverage though, the Model 3 in question seems to the same one that’s been used as a prop at various PR events in recent months.
Meaning, in other words, that we’re not going to learn anything new by scrutinizing these images in great detail. Presumably, the next part of the Model 3 unveiling can’t be too far off now, though, so interested consumers shouldn’t have to wait too much longer to get a real look at what exactly will be on offer with the long-range EV.
That event should give us our first look at what the actual production interior will look like — when outfitted with what will presumably be a state-of-the-art and unprecedented HUD system. Any changes made to the external design of the Model 3 seem likely to be revealed as well — something that’s potentially of interest to those who have complained about the front-area design of the model.
