Nissan’s “No Charge To Charge” Leaf promotional offer has now launched in Madison, Wisconsin, further incentivizing the purchase of the popular all-electric offering from Nissan.

To explain, for those unfamiliar with the program, the No Charge To Charge program provides buyers of new Nissan Leaf EVs with up to 2 years of free fast charging through various charging service networks.

“As a pioneer in bringing affordable EVs to the mass market, Nissan understands that EV owners want to be confident in their ability to drive longer distances and this program does just that,” stated Brian Maragno, director, Nissan EV Sales and Marketing. “‘No Charge to Charge’ makes driving an EV easier than ever, while also offering no-cost public charging, saving the average LEAF owner up to $1,000 in charging costs over the 24-month program.”

The expansion into the Madison market follows the launch of the promotion in Milwaukee earlier this year, further expanding its presence in Wisconsin. Notably, with the new 2016 Nissan Leaf, a single-charge trip between Milwaukee and Madison is now possible, thanks to the new 107 mile single-charge range.

The Nissan press release provides some further information: “The ‘No Charge to Charge’ promotion supports Nissan’s recent commitment to provide numerous convenient charging stations across Wisconsin that are compatible with a range of EVs. This inclusive implementation, named ‘Infrastructure for All,’ incorporates two types of charging ports, which means that each new fast-charging station coming online will include both CHAdeMO and SAE Combo connectors.”

Fast-charging stations on the No Charge To Charge network can recharge Leaf battery packs to a roughly 80% charge (from a 0% charge) in around a half hour.

Those looking to see how extensive the No Charge To Charge network is before buying a Nissan Leaf can do so here, or through the LEAF EZ-Charge smartphone app (available for iOS and Android).
