Tendril Releasing New Suite Of Industry-Focused Marketing Solutions To Support Distributed Energy Generation Providers

The Energy Services Management (ESM) solutions company Tendril is releasing a new suite of industry-focused marketing solutions that includes offerings that can be used by distributed energy resource providers (e.g., rooftop solar energy companies) amongst others, according to an email sent to CleanTechnica this week.

The 3 new “Tendril Energy Marketing” solutions utilize “advanced energy data analytics and decision science to establish synergies between energy product and service providers,” according to the company.

“The energy industry is changing from a single-supplier model to one where other companies are engaging residential consumers. To support this evolution, Tendril is helping traditional energy providers move to a collaborative, bundled-services model,” stated Tendril CEO Adrian Tuck. “We believe that utility success is increasingly contingent on working with adjacent markets, and that this collaborative model will increasingly define the role of the utility – as a conductor in an increasingly diverse market. By bringing together trusted energy advisors, home experts and renewables providers, we are establishing a dynamic market for energy-related products and services where everyone benefits.”

The recent email provides more:

As the energy infrastructure is digitalized and more connected devices enter the home, the volume, variety and velocity of energy data is rapidly increasing. This energy data gives organizations the opportunity to augment traditional digital marketing data sources with powerful insights into consumers’ energy usage. Coupled with the advent of consumer-centricity and a desire to buy from brands that show an understanding of the individual, there is an opportunity to use energy data insights to better engage with and market to consumers.

By leveraging detailed insights into energy consumption from every home in North America, the new Tendril solutions enable any company with an energy value proposition in the home to work together to increase conversion rates, reduce customer acquisition costs and strengthen brand loyalty.

…Tendril for Solar Providers: Helps solar providers reduce the cost of customer acquisition, which can be as much as $8,000 per household, by using insights into the energy consumption patterns of different households to qualify, evaluate and prioritize leads. By using energy insights to optimize lead management, solar providers can increase conversion rates and reduce the cost of customer acquisition.

The Tendril data analytics platform incorporates more than 300 data points to provide users with a comprehensive means of assessing consumer needs.

I don't like paywalls. You don't like paywalls. Who likes paywalls? Here at CleanTechnica, we implemented a limited paywall for a while, but it always felt wrong — and it was always tough to decide what we should put behind there. In theory, your most exclusive and best content goes behind a paywall. But then fewer people read it! We just don't like paywalls, and so we've decided to ditch ours. Unfortunately, the media business is still a tough, cut-throat business with tiny margins. It's a never-ending Olympic challenge to stay above water or even perhaps — gasp — grow. So ...
