Homeowners in Europe who are considering going solar but as yet undecided will probably be happy to hear that Panasonic Eco Solutions and ezzingSolar are partnering together to begin offering a free online solar simulation tool, according to a new press release.
The new interactive online tool expands on the “Simulate Your Solar System” launched in the UK last year. It uses a user’s address, estimated electricity consumption, and roof characteristics to create an estimate of the financial investment required to go solar. The estimate also provides information on the returns and savings available to those who utilize Panasonic’s solar offerings.
Here’s more via the new press release:
Upon completing the simulation, homeowners will have the option to request a free quote from an official Panasonic Premium Installer, who will assess suitability of the home for solar, and select the Panasonic solar modules that would provide the greatest value for the homeowner. ezzingSolar’s planning tool also provides significant value for installers through a new complete CRM, which provides many new functions, such as a live communication platform with the end user and the possibility to customize and update the user’s simulated system after the roof survey.
“This new partnership allows us to expand our UK virtual solar know-how to other key European markets, effectively allowing residents there to check the benefits of going solar under the umbrella of Panasonic, which is particularly relevant for consumers in an environment of continuously changing manufacturer names and promises,” stated Daniel Roca, Senior Business Developer at Panasonic Eco Solutions Europe. “By giving consumers control over how they are introduced to solar with data-driven, real-time estimates, we believe that this platform will undoubtedly drive Europe-wide demand for residential rooftop solar for next year and beyond.”

In theory, your most exclusive and best content goes behind a paywall. But then fewer people read it! We just don't like paywalls, and so we've decided to ditch ours. Unfortunately, the media business is still a tough, cut-throat business with tiny margins. It's a never-ending Olympic challenge to stay above water or even perhaps — gasp — grow. So ...
