Black Friday offers this year will apparently apply to electric vehicles like the Nissan LEAF, going by recent reports.

In Northern Colorado, specifically, there is reportedly a Black Friday group-buy offer that will see 2015 Nissan LEAFs sold for just a bit more than $10,000 ($10,600, to be exact) — meaning, in other words, a discount of up to $21,000 off of the sticker price.

The new group-buy promotional offer is the result of a partnership between Tynan’s Nissan and Drive Electric Northern Colorado (DENC), and begins starting on (of course) Friday, November 27th. It runs through the end of December (December 31st, 2015).

Here’s more information, coming via Green Car Congress:

Consumers in Fort Collins and Loveland, Colorado will have a special group-buy Black Friday opportunity to purchase a 2015 Nissan LEAF for just more than $10,000, saving up to $21,000 off the sticker price.

…Tynan’s Nissan will take $9,007 off the LEAF’s retail price. Coupled with a total of $13,500 in refundable electric vehicle tax credits — $6,000 through Colorado’s EV tax credit and $7,500 through the federal tax credit — buyers can expect to spend 65% below the LEAF’s retail price of $32,130.

Reportedly, residents of Northern Colorado who buy one of these Nissan LEAFs through the Black Friday group-buy program will also be given 24 months of free electric vehicle (EV) charging via the EVGo “No Charge To Charge” program. There are reportedly 11 such EV charging stations on the surrounding region. The program will also see Tynan’s Nissan offering its LEAF buyers up to 6 free days of gasmobile rental, for the times when longer distances need to be covered (road trips, etc).

This looks like a great offer for anyone who’s been on the fence about buying (or definitely planning to buy) a Nissan LEAF.
