The Striptease Of The Tesla Model X Continues
Originally published on TeslaMondo.
This time we see the unwrapped chrome “eyebrow” between the rear lights. And, due to the time of day/angle of the sun, the doors gain a new accent line just under the handles. Surely it’s always been there — but virtually unnoticeable until now. To boot, the shadow under the rear wing does a body good. Yes, this is shaping up well. Gotta wonder why the light housings, of all things, are still under wraps.

Nice looking rear end. 😉
In Strine we would say it has a nice arse.
There appears to be a pop-up rear spoiler.
Yes, there is. Has been spotted in action previously.
the gull wing door(s) don’t look fully closed to me in that vid.. the roof-line and the door-handle line is jagged.
I’ve seen that in a lot of photos too. It makes me wonder.
It makes you wonder if you have seen a testing prototype? Yes – you have.
We all want Tesla to succeed but those famously problematic gull-wing doors must not be the reason to endanger their success. For now, Musk has always proven himself and hopefully these doors will be the gimmick people will want by the millions.
Yep. Its a test mule. Doesn’t look completely appearance finished. The hood looks ill fitting, too.
Hard to tell just what they are testing. Good news is that they have been street testing for months now.
Oh, they’re probably testing internal stuff which isn’t visible from the outside. There were a lot of … little … glitches in the earliest Model S, and they don’t want that happening again with the Model X.
Yes. For all we know they are testing the door handles. Well maybe not. I mean they ought to get something more useful out of a road test.
