
Those who read our previous article on Austin Electric’s ATX 8080 all-electric moto-scooter may be interested to know that the pricing information has now been revealed.
The American-made bike will retail (MSRP) for $6,995 when it goes on sale later this year. Those interested, though, can now reserve the bike (on the company’s Kickstarter page) for a good bit less than that — $5,250 to be exact. There are a limited number of reservation spots, though, so the offer isn’t guaranteed if you don’t get there fast.
As we noted in our previous coverage, the ATX 8080 is made right here in the US (in Texas, to be particular, if that matters to you…), and it is the first offering from Austin Electric.
Those of you interested in supporting the company but not willing or able to plop down $5,250 can purchase shirts, hats, bottle openers, keychains, etc, via the Kickstarter page linked to above. Here are some more details on the electric two-wheeler:
