Important Media is excited to announce the Sacramento Sustainability Unconference, June 20 at Capsity coworking space.
We here at Important Media are so excited to announce the upcoming Sustainability Unconference in Sacramento. An Unconference is a unique twist on a regular conference: at most conferences, there are few people on stage, but most of the people you want to speak with are actually sitting next to you! The Unconference style allows networking to happen organically all day long in a relaxed, smart, and fun environment. The Unconference has a loose agenda for the day, but the actual topics for the workshops and speakers are to be decided by the attendees. Whether you’ve started your own business, developed a smart social media strategy for your brand, or taken up a new hobby that helps you relax, everyone has something to share to help other businesses grow. All topics are fair game for the Unconference as we help grow a greener Sacramento.
The day will end with a speed networking session that allows all attendees to network with all others to help build Sacramento’s sustainability community. During the day we’ll have locally roasted coffee and organic teas from partner cafes, and we’ll have some great foods available at a discounted price to attendees. And then it’s time for some locally-made beer at a local brewery.
