While the original article is in Norwegian, I did manage to pick out a few details worth mentioning (with the aid of a translation program):
The snowmobile used in the drag race is a “Lynx Boondocker” — with, apparently, “800 ccm and around 160 hp.”
The Tesla P85D of course can’t accelerate as quickly on ice as it can on asphalt (not enough traction), so that was moderated a fair amount by the driver.
And, humorously, despite losing, the snowmobile driver made a point of mentioning that, “On the snow I would have won quite easily.” Gotta save the pride I suppose — that is the modern way after all.

It’s worth a watch, though I wonder how many people are going to make some rather unwise decisions after seeing this…. Perhaps there’ll be a spike in the number of insurance claims involving Teslas. 🙂
