7 Top Tesla Model S P85D Reaction Videos
February 22nd, 2015 by Adam Johnston
As you may have noticed, people have been in awe of the Tesla Model S P85D, thanks to its pure, raw, electric power.
The gang at DragTimes has taken passengers for a wild ride in the Tesla Model S P85D and captured the fun on video. The passenger reactions are literally stunning, as the vehicle accelerates into “Insane Mode” from 0 to 60/70 mph within just a couple of seconds.
This video spurred us to run down some of the best Tesla P85D videos to date — 7 of them, to be precise. Check them out below.
Powered by dual motors, the P85D has 691 HP and 864 ft-lbs of torque. It is the quickest production sedan in history.
Check out the reactions in the clean and/or explicit versions of the DragTimes video, especially the kids when it suddenly goes into “Insane Mode,” and then check out the others we pulled together. The fun is priceless.

#1 Drag Times Explicit
If that montage of reactions was not jaw-dropping enough, then check out this video when two women get behind the wheel:
Watching these two women’s reactions while taking the Tesla Model S P85D on the road for a spin was fun. I especially enjoyed seeing the passenger’s “out of this world” reaction and references to its rapid acceleration as akin to a “rollercoaster.” Consider this a “rollercoaster” without that sinking feeling you get going up and down in an amusement park.
#3 Unsecured Items
While rapid acceleration with amazing reactions is awesome, watching items fly through the air in a Tesla is… pretty cool too.
DragTimes decided to go hardcore and film what would happen if you had a bunch of material laying loose with two kids sitting in the back (in both regular and slow motion)? The results will jump you out of your seat. Hint, keep your items very close to you at all times!
Overall, these videos show how cool and powerful electric vehicles can be.
#4 Laughs All Around
#5 A 5 Year Old & Mom
#6 On 3…
This method seems to be popular among people showing off their P85Ds.
#7 Elon Leads the Way
Prior to releasing the Tesla Model S P85D, Elon Musk told Bloomberg Business he wanted to show what EVs are capable of in terms of being the highest performing vehicles in the marketplace.
