The Danish company Midttrafik stirred some fabulous visions and reasons to ride buses a few years ago with a classy bus video I covered at that time. You are thinking — yes, some conscientious people in Denmark have a difference experience of Bus Cool. Certainly different from complacency, but the ad took it to another level. Now it’s out with another fun video advertising this great mode of transportation.

I like the Danish videos. Although, I’d like to throw in my idea of a cool bus video American Style as well (in the end). Its wisdom may also be lost on the auto-attached, armor-insulated, driving-addicted crowd. But the wisdom not lost on the eco-kind adventurer immersed in living the life less ordinary.

But let’s dive into the videos now. Here’s what some have called “The World’s Coolest Bus Commercial:”

Before getting to the sequel, below are some more good ones.

Some days there is a simple synchronicity to unity and public transit:

Adventure!:

Forget that online dating — slip into a realm of organically moving romance on the bus. “If it takes forever, I will wait for you….”

Now on to the recently released coolest bus video sequel with that fresh-smelling young blood — what Grist claims will win over the complacent and get them on buses: “Midtraffik and Danish production company M2Film are back with ‘Epic Bus – The Sequel,’ which features an unlikely hero: The public bus passenger himself.”

And don’t miss a chance to listen to some mild-mannered cool bus attitudes in America and beautiful Lakota smiles and melodies:

Out of the ad and film world, BYD recently unveiled a 200-mile electric bus, “the industry’s first long-range, battery-electric, over-the-road bus.”

From another recent article on this bus: “The +190-miles range of the C9 puts BYD’s new offering in a category all its own as far as electric buses go — extending the potential uses of such buses far beyond immediate urban environments.” Cool stuff.
