Tesla Motors was recently found to have the highest revenue per employee in the whole of the automobile manufacturers industry — more or less blowing everyone else out of the water — according to recent reports.

The EV manufacturer came in with a revenue per employee (RPE) of $2.7 million. The two next-highest manufacturers? Ford Motors with an RPE of $881,000, and General Motors with an RPE of $753,000.

After those three, the rate drops off quite a bit further — with Thor Industries at $507,000, and Winnebago Industries at $468,000.

So, not much competition in other words — Tesla owns this marker of productivity.
