How do you know you’ve truly made it in America? When your name and likeness is used on an episode of The Simpsons. From the King of Pop to the President of the United States, everybody who is anybody has been featured on the Simpsons, and soon Elon Musk will join their elite ranks.

Elon Musk will be featured in an upcoming episode of the Simpsons, where he will face off against nuclear power magnate C. Montgomery Burns. Musk won’t just be making a cameo though; the episode entitled The Musk Who Fell From Earth reportedly features the Tesla Motors and SpaceX entrepreneur’s bankrupting Burns. The episode will focus heavily on Musk reports Jalopnik, which means green energy and possibly even the Model S will feature into the show.

Musk has been called, among other things, the real Tony Stark for his futuristic vision of how the world should be.
In addition to pushing humanity towards a new space race and embracing electric vehicles, Musk has also demonstrated some cutting-edge computer technology and a fondness for James Bond. He’s become something of a pop culture icon for geeks and nerds everywhere, not unlike Neil deGrasse Tyson and Bill Nye. Hopefully he won’t turn out to be a Hank Scorpio though.

Now that he’s being animated into the Simpsons universe though, he’s achieved true immortality.

  • Truth be told

This is getting retarded. (saying Elon Musk is Tony Stark)

Elon has built zero new technology and none that comes close to a Tony Stark.

I’d be ok to compare him with real existing or dead people, but even Jobs came up with something new (the iPad).

Electric cars existed since 1898 including hybrids, solar panels since 10 years, rockets too… Elon is a great marketer but you guys are really going full retard on the Tony Stark stuff.

Must admit that it has been years since I’ve had the time to keep up with this show, and it was something that didn’t seem quite appropriate for my kids when they were younger, but the oldest is getting to be of an age where he might enjoy some of the earlier seasons that we collected on DVD. But while he will enjoy the comic aspect it is going to be involved trying to explain all the social and political in jokes from back in those years that we have.
This will be a great show to see but for anyone unfamiliar with this show if you do try to catch it do it with a recorded or digital version because half the fun is stopping it to catch the hidden jokes and innuendo.
