While on set for the film Transcendence, Johnny Depp and some of his costars (including Rebecca Hall, Paul Bettany, and director Pfister) were given a spirited demonstration of the Tesla Model S by Elon Musk. Then they ran afoul of local law enforcement.
Unsurprisingly, Depp was delighted, as people usually are by this vehicle.
‘I had one of the best experiences I’ve ever had,” Depp told the Sun. “The director introduced me to Elon Musk at Tesla. He came and visited the set and we had a ride around in his car but then the police pulled us over.’
‘Elon had a good sense of humour about it. The cop did not. He needed a humour chip. But it was a good time, nonetheless.’
The patrol officer was displeased to find the six-foot five-inch Paul Bettany was sitting on Depp’s lap, but ultimately the cop let Musk and the Hollywood A-listers go with a warning.
After such a spirited test drive, do you think Depp is ready to buy a Tesla Model S of his own?

Unfortunately, the media business is still a tough, cut-throat business with tiny margins. It's a never-ending Olympic challenge to stay above water or even perhaps — gasp — grow. So ...
