Unirac Awarded 110-MW Solar Contract

North America’s largest provider of solar mounting structures for residential, commercial, and utility solar power systems, Unirac, has been awarded a contract by Bechtel Power Corporation to supply the ground mount system for the 110-MW AC Catalina Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Project in Kern County in Southern California, one of the largest photovoltaic ground mount installations in North America.
The project will cover 1,100 acres and produce enough energy to power approximately 35,000 home. It is scheduled to be completed by 2013.
