Sahara Forest to Have Solar-Powered Greenhouses Soon?

We covered the Sahara Forest Project many years ago (well, ~4 years ago). If you’re not familiar with the project, you can check out the Sahara Forest Project site for more info and the latest news, or its Wikipedia page. Basically, though, the project “aims to provide fresh water, food and renewable energy in hot, arid regions as well as re-vegetating areas of uninhabited desert.” It combines the “seawater greenhouse” concept with concentrating solar power (CSP).

It seems the project is moving along still. So I thought I’d drop this quick update in here with one of the latest videos on the project, which I ran across on sister site Blue Living Ideas recently:
