5 US States Now Getting Over 10% of Electricity from Wind Power
Wind power has grown tremendously in recent years, as you should well know by now. As you can see in the first chart below, it’s grew tremendously from 2007-2011, and the following chart shows that 5 states now get over 10% of their electricity from wind power — South Dakota, Iowa, North Dakota, Minnesota, and Wyoming — with several others close behind that milestone.
