All-electric Tron look-alike from Parker Brothers Choppers

Fans of all-electric transportation get ready! Parker Brothers Choppers has introduced an all-electric two-wheeled machine that looks like it came from the movie Tron and was delivered here by a meteor from the future.

Last year, Parker Brothers developed a gasoline-powered version of the Lightcycle, which was featured on Gizmag.

The bike may not sound like a chopper but it will set plenty of people looking. The electric motor is stylishly quiet, but this one’s still guaranteed to turn heads.

The Lightcycle has undergone extensive body reworking, in addition to getting a 96-volt electric motor and lithium ion battery pack. Parker Brothers claims an impressive top speed of in excess of 100 mph for and a range of 100 miles on a single charge with 35 minute recharge times.

There’s no word yet on pricing or availability of the All Electric Lightcycle, but those who are interested can contact Parker Brothers directly.

You might not find yourself lane-splitting or scraping the pegs while astride this beast, but – at least until landspeeders hit the market – you’ll be hard pressed to find a more radical 21st century ride.

Take at this slick All-Electric Lightcycle in action. It is truly a 21st century ride.
