New Online Cleantech and Renewable Energy Legal Forum

Two San Francisco-based companies, Cleantech Law Partners and CleanTechies, have just announced a new online service for addressing pressing and constantly changing cleantech and renewable energy legal and policy issues.

The free online service (at http://law.cleantechies.com) allows anyone to submit legal questions which Cleantech Law Partners’ attorneys will then review and answer online.

“The Legal Q&A on CleanTechies helps close a significant gap in the online knowledge base by allowing renewable energy project developers, startup companies, service providers, and other professionals to ask our attorneys about legal and policy issues they encounter on a daily basis. We hope this resource will contribute to the overall growth of the sector,” said Jack Jacobs, founder and managing partner of Cleantech Law Partners.

“We are excited to team up with Cleantech Law Partners to provide cleantech professionals with another valuable resource on our website,” said Ceylan Thomson, CEO & Co-Founder of CleanTechies. “Our goal is to provide better access to expert knowledge and facilitate understanding of important issues by offering cleantech professionals a platform to share their insights. The Legal Q&A will contribute to this goal by shedding light on important legal and policy issues.”

This looks like a very useful service for professionals in the cleantech industry, or even for individuals or businesses interested in incorporating clean technology into their homes or businesses more. It’s great to know there is such a resource available now.

In theory, your most exclusive and best content goes behind a paywall. But then fewer people read it! We just don't like paywalls, and so we've decided to ditch ours. Unfortunately, the media business is still a tough, cut-throat business with tiny margins. It's a never-ending Olympic challenge to stay above water or even perhaps — gasp — grow. So ...
