We all know that conventional retro-reflective road markers, or “cat eyes”, don’t always work when you need to see into the distance. Luna Road’s new solar-powered LED cat eyes, however, illuminate the road ahead for miles. The company’s lights are built in poly-crystalline/ single crystalline solid, and come in economical, intermediate, and advanced models.
After charging for 8 hours during the day, Luna Road’s lights glow for a full 12 hours. The lights are available in red, blue, green, amber, and white for added visibility. Solar-Powered LED cat eyes aren’t new— the studs are currently used in over 120 locations in the UK—but it’s nice to see another company tossing its hat into the ring.
