Tesla has just released short videos from inside the Shanghai Gigafactory showing many steps of the production line and manufacturing processes of the Tesla Model 3. Let’s take a look.

Yes, the Model 3 is a co-star in the video, but the main character is a gentleman whose journey isn’t just another Tesla road trip, but one of choice as he reacts to something heartbreaking.
2019 is poised to be a breakout year for Tesla. The Model 3 is expected to become the best selling electric car in Germany and construction of the new Gigafactory 3 in China is already a year ahead of schedule.

YouTuber Marques Brownlee — aka MKBHD — took to Twitter to tease the world with some still shots of a Tesla Model 3 Performance Edition and some vertically mounted cameras capturing blood-curdling, portrait-mode video footage destined for Instagram’s new IGTV platform.
Tesla is such a polarizing brand that its vehicles are either loved by those who have driven them or hated by those who think Elon Musk is a socialist/anarchist (take your pick) who’s hell bent on riding his magic flying rocket around and touting the dangers of climate change whilst making billions off the wild hordes of spell-bound believers.
A series of videos by Joe Torbati & OCDetailing of the new Model 3 left an impressive impression of the freshest Tesla EV to roll off the lines, a car that is receiving perhaps unprecedented attention. Hope and expectations are that it may become as familiar as the Toyota Camry was in its prime.
Tesla continues to get more free advertising than any company in history thanks to the magic of cheap video cameras and YouTube. In the past few days, a 97 year old man got his first ride in a Model S and a Model X set a new world record for an SUV at the drag strip — humbling a half-million-dollar Lamborghini in the process. Both videos make for entertaining watching.
Thanks to the entrepreneurial spirit of a 5th grade student (and the school project that kicked the effort off), it seems that Tesla CEO Elon Musk has decided that the company will be holding a fan-made commercial contest — at the request of the student in a letter emailed to Tesla and tweeted to Elon.
