Solar Energy in the Arabian Peninsula: German, Swiss Investment Firms Plan $2-Billion Project

Hot on the heels of Dubai announcing a 1-GW, $3.27 billion solar energy investment, German and Swiss private equity investment companies are planning a $2 billion investment in solar energy generation and manufacturing in the southeast Arabian peninsula nation of Oman.
