The World Needs Commercial Electric Vehicles Now

Financing and clean energy leadership from companies such as Ideanomics* point toward a future of decreasing carbon emissions alongside reliable economic growth. Commercial EV conversion offers a way to significantly help the environment. It should be supported legislatively in order to smooth the necessary transition away from fossil fuels in every developed country in the world. China can lead the way.

Electric Vehicles Have Lowest Total Cost Of Ownership, Study Finds

It’s no secret that electric vehicles carry higher sticker prices than comparable legacy vehicles (although it’s debatable whether any gas-burner is truly “comparable” to an EV, especially a Tesla). Of course, as any EV booster will tell you, the difference in purchase price is offset by savings on fuel and maintenance, as well as the various tax breaks and incentives that are available.

Company Car Drivers Save Thousands Of Pounds By Going Electric

I quite enjoyed Andy Mile’s piece on EV Obsession relating his charging conversations. He lives in the UK. I live in Florida. When discussing costs of “fuel” for an all-electric car, it seems my experience is even less expensive than his. Miles relates a fine experience of savings on fuel for his electric car, but I tend to have free charging everywhere I go (and no home charging). The other savings he relates is certainly a major consideration as well — the sheer savings of EV maintenance compared to maintenance of an ICE car is remarkable. Beyond personal use, company car drivers could save thousands of pounds/dollars by going electric.
