At first I couldn’t help smiling, because it looked like these guys were just having fun with a new idea, but knowing this area from living there myself many years back, I suspected this was not just for the fun of it. I asked Tatila Anthony what motivated this practice, and he explained: “It’s used when people fail to access cattle. You know in Zambia cattle die as a result of diseases, so they resort to using Hondas for ploughing. The advantage is also that it is faster.”
This video below brightened my morning as it showcased the sweet adventure of Microlino, a small three-wheeled EV. I don’t like long cars, space-grabbing cars. I love the perky older style of the Nissan LEAF and the BMW i3 — electric cars that others call funny looking. I guess they will have a field day with this young one. Check it out:
Nissan recently started testing its New Mobility Concept vehicles using a novel testing method; lending them to mothers in an effort to determine whether the vehicles were useful in taking the kids to school, doing the shopping, and running errands.
