When officials from AORA Solar cut the blue ribbon to launch the Tulip CSP system in Spain, I was able to sit with Pinchas Doron, PhD, AORA’s chief technology officer, to learn more of this innovative hybrid system. What follows is a condensed version of that interview.
I had the privilege of being at the unveiling of the first hybrid modular concentrated solar power (CSP) system to operate in Europe this week. AORA had developed and launched this incredible “Tulip System” – located at the expansive Platforma Solar de Almeria (PSA) outside the southern Spanish city of Almeria.
