This week, The Price Is Right contestant Gregory from Hollywood, California, won a Tesla Model 3 Long Range dual motor sedan. Was he excited? Oh, yeah. Give a look.

Tesla doesn’t advertise, of course, but it’s not above a little promotional activity once in a while. Featuring the gorgeous black Model 3 on one of America’s favorite game shows is one way to introduce the Tesla name and the idea that electric cars really do exist to folks in TV land.

The game he played is called “That’s Too Much.” The contestant is shown a series of imaginary prices for the featured product. Some are below the actual price, some are higher. The player shouts out “That’s too high!” as soon as a price appears he or she believes is more than the actual retail price.

In this case, Gregory felt $52,316 was too much and he was right. The actual price of the car was $51,700. Gregory won the car and was — shall we say — a little emotional, rushing over to plant a kiss on the Tesla’s frunk.

It was a great day for “Price Is Right” fans — although, some of us were disappointed the game wasn’t Plinko or Cliff Hanger. Somewhere, Bob Barker is smiling along with Gregory from Hollywood.
