There are many celebrities that own and love electric vehicles from Tesla Motors [NASDAQ: TSLA]. Who’s the latest one? Hollywood actress and Golden Globe winner Eva Longoria is probably best known for her role on Desperate Houeswives. She’s also starred on The Young and the Restless and (now) on Devious Maids. In addition, Longoria is involved with many charities and was named Philanthropist of the Year in 2009 by The Hollywood Reporter for her commitment to Latino causes and giving back to the community. But, did you know Longoria was an avid fan of Tesla Motors and owner of both a Tesla Model S and Tesla Model X? To our knowledge, she’s actually the first celeb to own both the S and X.

That’s right, Longoria just took delivery of her new Tesla Model X and proudly posted it this past week on Instagram. And this is not the first time she’s happily embraced a Tesla. When she received delivery of her 2013 Tesla Model S, she posted a photo on Instagram hugging her Model S. Check out both of her Tesla vehicles posted on her Instagram account below, and, hit the play button on the top post for Longoria’s loving embrace of her new Model X…

In addition, the paparazzi have caught Longoria with her Tesla Model S on a number of occasions. It appears to be her daily driver as she loves to take it out for a spin to big industry events, errands, and even dates around town. Check out some photos of Longoria with her Tesla Model S below…

We hope to see more free advertising from paparazzi pics of Longoria in her new Tesla Model X. Many car companies pay for this kind of celebrity exposure. Not Tesla. It’s important to note that Tesla CEO Elon Musk has explained, “Tesla does not advertise or pay for endorsements or product placement. Maybe by doing so we could sell more cars, but I don’t like the idea of trying to trick people into buying a product by false association. If you see somebody famous driving a Model S, it is because they genuinely like the car. If you see it in a movie or TV show, it is because the people associated with that production genuinely like the car.” That said, it’s impressive how many Hollywood stars own a Tesla… we hope to see many more follow in Longoria’s footsteps and get the new Model X.
