California limo company Big Limos is taking its game to the next level by stretching out a 2016 Tesla Model S into a full-size limousine. While it sounds difficult, the Model S may be one of the easier modifications the company has done, as there is no driveshaft or complicated modification of the internal combustion or fuel systems required.

Having said that, the Model S is likely a very different beast than they are used to working with, as it contains tons of sensors and communication lines, not to mention the huge battery pack (!) under the car. Speaking to the battery pack, I’m curious to see if any modifications were made to the battery pack. Did they split it down the middle? Did they add any cells to the car to give it more flexibility when out on the town with customers? How in the world will it Supercharge with all of the stations being purpose-built back in or pulled through?

Whatever the car ends up looking like when these limo experts are done with it, it’s safe to say that it will be physically longer with a slightly shorter range due to the extra weight it will be carrying. Check out the nails-on-chalkboard video below, in which these pros take the saw to an otherwise perfect Tesla Model S sporting new-car plates and all.
