It seems like any famous person you can think of has participated in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge*. As the cleantech fanatic I am, I think the first ice bucket challenge I saw was Elon Musk’s. I didn’t know what it was about and thought it was from a kid’s birthday party or something. Didn’t take too long to figure out, with one ice bucket challenge after another popping up on my social media feeds. Here’s the Elon Musk ice bucket challenge, which may be my favorite yet, thanks to fun so clearly present in all the little boys and Elon Musk’s adorable nerdiness, fitting in so well with them:

I also later saw that Bill Gates nominated Elon Musk, which shows how influential Gates sees Musk, or perhaps just how much he likes him. Here’s Gates’ ice bucket challenge:

Too bad Gates doesn’t see the energy world like Elon Musk sees it.

*Remember that the point of the ice bucket challenge is to raise awareness about ALS and raise money to support the ALS Association.
