The idea is compelling, but there are already enterprise level energy modeling programs on the market that are effective at addressing the complexities of commercial and industrial building energy auditing. What's needed for effective decision making is an accurate baseline of real world energy consumption and costs. We do this for the residential sector already. We've found that combining our performance rating with a model created from a traditional energy audit delivers value in excess of an either-or approach to building energy performance.
