I agree. I think Europe will go fully electric for cars and trucking before the USA does.
Europe is the Avant-garde of renewable energy will set the example and make it hip to go electric and socially unpopular to have an internal combustion engine powered means of transportation. Good!

One of the sales advantages for an all electric car, in my view, is population density and it will be more economical to set up the charging depots in Europe versus the United States because of this.

People will charge their cars mostly at home but even if they have to charge their cars only once in 50 times on the road, they want to be confident that they will find a charging depot when required.

Setting up charging depots in the US will require deeper pockets because it has about 1/3 the population density of Europe.
