the reasons are follows:
1: Wind energy in the deep sea areas is 30 % more than the land base areas thus power captured by the wind turbine is more.
2: It doesn’t waste the farming lands.
3: noise produce by the wind turbines becomes quite unbareble for the people leaving into those areas.
above mentioned are only few reasons for the shiftment wind energy from onshore to offshore.
