Making Electric Cars = Rocket Science (+ White Walls)

Followers of Tesla know that Tesla co-founder, CEO, and Product Architect Elon Musk is also the founder, CEO, and Chief Designer at SpaceX. If you only had a hunch beforehand that Musk and the Tesla team are using rocket science and rocket technology on the Model S and the company’s other electric vehicles, I can tell you that I have heard Musk say that they are indeed doing so.

A Wired video about Tesla’s megafactory also indicates that the electric car company is using its rocket science know-how to build these wonderful cars. And it explains why the factory has such clean, white walls and ceilings. Watch the video here:
